Why We Became a Snowflake Partner
Chief Strategy Officer

NexaSoftAI does not pursue technology partnerships lightly. When we recommend a platform to our clients, we are staking our reputation on that recommendation — which means we evaluate every major platform decision with the same rigor we apply to architecture choices. After an extensive evaluation of the modern data platform landscape, we became a Snowflake partner in 2023. Here is the reasoning behind that decision.
The Problem We Were Solving
Across our client base, data infrastructure was consistently one of the highest-friction areas of the technology stack. Startups were cobbling together data pipelines from disparate tools, struggling with performance at scale, and spending engineering cycles on infrastructure maintenance rather than analytics value delivery.
Our Evaluation Criteria
Separation of Storage and Compute
The ability to scale compute independently of storage is foundational for cost-efficient analytics at variable workload volumes. Snowflake's architecture — where compute clusters can be spun up, scaled, and suspended independently — gives clients precise control over cost without compromising query performance.
Zero-Copy Cloning and Time Travel
Snowflake's zero-copy cloning capability — creating full, independent copies of databases, schemas, or tables without duplicating the underlying storage — is one of the most underappreciated features in the modern data stack. It enables development and testing workflows that are simply not practical on traditional warehouses.
Data Sharing Without Data Movement
Snowflake's secure data sharing capabilities allow organizations to share live, governed data with partners, customers, or internal teams without copying or moving data. For clients building data products or operating in ecosystems where data exchange is part of the business model, this capability is transformative.
Performance at Scale
We ran benchmarks against competing platforms across a range of query patterns: high-concurrency reporting workloads, complex analytical queries on large datasets, and mixed workloads combining ETL and interactive analytics.
Ecosystem Maturity
The modern data stack has converged around Snowflake as a central component. dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, Looker, Tableau, and virtually every major data tool in the ecosystem has deep, well-maintained Snowflake integration.
What the Partnership Means for Our Clients
As a Snowflake partner, NexaSoftAI has access to partner engineering resources, early access to new platform capabilities, and a direct escalation path for client issues.
